On the northeastern tip of India, sandwiched between Bangladesh and Myanmar, is a state called Mizoram. This state is home to more than one million people, the majority of whom are Christian. The Mizoram Church has had a strong passion for missions since its beginning. Today the Mizoram Presbyterian Church sends more than 2,000 missionaries within and outside India.
CRWM partners with the Mizoram Presbyterian Church to send teachers and nurses to serve as evangelists in Myanmar and Nepal. CRWM has also sent guest lecturers to the church's Missionary Training College and assisted with providing the salary of a librarian at the college.
