With more than 6,000 inhabited islands and about 750 spoken languages, Indonesia is both geographically and linguistically diverse. This diversity is exciting, but also creates a unique set of challenges for sharing the Gospel. Right now, Indonesia has the largest number of Muslims in the world and many people also practice ancestral religions. Many have never heard the Good News, especially in their native tongue.

CRWM is working in Indonesia to share the Good News with people in their native language. CRWM missionaries are working with local people, showing them what the written Word looks like in their local language through translation projects, and also showing how that Word plays itself out in everyday life through relationship building.
