The Republic of Kazakhstan in Central Asia was the final country to gain independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. The country is home to a wide variety of ethnic groups and has also seen significant growth in the church. This growing number of believers in an ethnically-diverse culture has opened the door for a number of ministry opportunities.
CRWM missionaries have responded to this church growth by teaching in international schools that are located in strategic locations for ministry. These schools serve both missionary families and a number of people groups that are native to Kazahastan. Through this ministry, children are developing a biblical worldview are becoming healthy, mature believers.
