The Chin people in Myanmar are a majority-Christian ethnicity living in a minority-Christian country. Many of these people live in the Northwest part of Myanmar, where the CRC of Myanmar was established by a local man who developed a passion for the Reformed faith while studying at Calvin Theological Seminary. Today the CRC of Myanmar is a small but growing church that is playing a part in rebuilding the country after the fall of a military dictatorship that formally ended in 2011.

CRWM has helped the CRC of Myanmar by providing church plant training and providing grants to seminary professors. With a growing population of Chin people in North America, this is one of many ministry fields that holds high potential for further partnership.
