LaPrea spent one month serving with Lirio de Los Valles, a K-12 Christian school in Leon, Nicaragua. Although she thought she was going to be a teacher’s aid, she regularly found herself in front of a classroom full of students while the regular teacher stepped out.
Momentum is a discipleship program for young adults (ages 18-22) who are looking to grow in their relationship with Christ through mentorship and service in God's local and global Kingdom.
Momentum pairs together two assets of the Christian Reformed Church: Mature believers who have a heart for discipleship and young adults who enjoy hands-on, service-based faith development.

Momentum, CRWM’s newest program is bringing together two of the CRC’s greatest assets—mature believers who have a heart for discipleship and young adults who enjoy hands-on, service-based ministry and learning.
Momentum is a year-long discipleship program where teams of young adults and mentors meet monthly for local community service projects and devotional reflections. The final month of the program culminates with an international service project.
